We’ve grown everything from seed apart from the onions which we bought as sets. So far it’s looking pretty good, though we’ve had a couple issues with Mr Toff thinking we’ve made him a massive bed/toilet space, so we’re trying to sort that out. He hasn’t been as bad since everything is starting to come up now, but he’s still at it in the empty spaces.

I did a post on how we built the raised bed and then the plan for what we were planting and where last month and everything is coming along pretty good! I also decided to add in some radishes since we did the plan.

It’s crazy how much difference there is since the first couple photos from the beginning of the month to the latest ones that I took in the past few days – the lettuce, spinach and pak choi are starting to grow true leaves, the strawberries have loads of flowers and one of the earlier starter tomato plants have a couple flowers on it. I’ve also planted out the broccoli and I’ve started the kale and brussels sprouts indoors to be planted out late next month. I’m super excited as the weather is finally starting to warm up so everything should hopefully have a nice growth spurt.

Are you growing anything this year? I’d love to follow along so leave a link and I’ll be sure to check it out!
