On Sunday we took a trip down to London for the day with my parents and brother. While my dad and brother were off doing a job for a couple hours, me, Shane and my mum decided to go for a little walk along the Southbank. We were headed for the real food market which is there every weekend (I’ll have a separate post about that soon) but we’d already made plans to meet up with my dad and brother later for dinner so only stopped for some drinks before heading off to the London Eye. We’ll definitely be back to enjoy all the delicious food there though (especially the churros).
There’s always something going on along the bank like street dancers and performers so we sat down in the gardens while taking in the atmosphere and enjoying the amazing weather before heading off on a quick stop at Chinatown to stock up on sweets and noodles. Such a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon in the sunshine!

October 2, 2014 at 11:24 pmI absolutely love the Southbank and I really like all of the photos you’ve shared. I visited the other week and took some photos myself – it’s such a photographic place! I’d definitely recommend visiting at night, it looks so gorgeous when its all lit up.
