IKEA Haul

Incase you don’t know, IKEA is one of my favourite shops to buy stuff for our home. If we need something, it’s our first call. Shane and I took a trip to our local IKEA this past Saturday while the weather was a little crappy and ended up going completely overboard with stuff as usual!

I’ve been wanting to turn a corner of our hallway into a little nook to sit in the evenings as our living room only gets the sun in the morning and it’s super dark in there in the evenings, but the sunshine pours into our hallway in the evening. I ended up buying a little armchair (which I plan on ‘hacking’ into a more mid-century style hopefully) to go in there and then decided to just build it into a little nook, so I bought some pretty flowers and an artificial plant, a cushion and the Bråkig laptop stand. I also bought the PS 2014 collection jars that I was lusting over for our bathroom and the PS collection duvet set too! I just couldn’t help myself haha! There’s still a couple other things that I want to get, like some little shelves and a floor lamp and a mini side table, but I can’t wait to build it up into a cute little reading nook where I can sit and enjoy the sunshine 🙂 I’ll be sure to do a blog post when it’s all complete!
