How was your bank holiday weekend? Ours was pretty low key, though we celebrated my cousins 18th birthday on Saturday with a meal and go-karting which was super fun (I came 4th out of 8 – I was pretty proud of myself for beating Shane and my brother haha!) We ended it yesterday with a trip to Coton Manor Gardens. I’ve been so excited to visit their Bluebell Wood for a couple months and was so excited when I found out yesterday morning that they were in bloom. I took way too many photos and just couldn’t narrow it down to only a few, so I’m going to do another post in a couple days of the rest of the gardens.
If you get a chance over the next couple weeks to go to a bluebell wood, I’d go! It’s so amazing seeing a carpet of little purple flowers blanketing the floor of the woods and every so often you get such a lovely smell from them! I could have wandered around there for hours!

May 5, 2014 at 11:31 amThere’s a wood near Brussels that turns into a magnificent bluebell garden around april too. I have planned a visit two years in a row now, but there’s always something stopping us 🙂 This year it was school work. So there’s nothing left for me to do but enjoy your photos instead, and hope that maybe next year I can finally see this kind of beauty for myself too! 😀 xo
