Last weekend, my mum and I took a trip to Wimpole Hall and Farm. Shane and I visited a few weeks ago when we popped in to Cambridge, though as it was late, we only took a walk around the gardens. After seeing that they had a lambing event on from the 7th-26th April, we decided to go back again last weekend and visit the farm too (I’ve got a separate post coming up about that).
My mum and I explored the house for a while, then took a nice little walk through their gardens full of spring flowers. There’s also a walled kitchen garden, but nothing much was happening in there at the minute. Hopefully we’ll be back again in the summer to see all of the amazing vegetables growing! I absolutely love exploring old houses, and I love that Wimpole is more relaxed than a lot of houses that we visit as you can just take a walk around the rooms rather than being guided along a coridor only looking from the walkway around the room. I’ll have another post soon from our trip to the farm!
